Hillyard is also previous member of the LA Traditional ska outfit, Hepcat and also has championed 3 Albums with his own improvisational Jazz/Ska/Rocksteady/Afrobeat group, Dave Hillyard and the Rocksteady 7. Dave Hillyard has most recently released a collection of reinvented JA Reggae Riddims reinvented with his own Saxaphone creations with upsetter Glen Adams, entitled "Plays Hits of Jackpot", distributed on Ska in the World (JP).
